Four photographs from 1992 made in Hibbing, Minnesota - where Bob Dylan was raised. Each contain text. One shows a hand-written message, written on a window, it reads: "Smile, God loves you even though no one else does."
In ‘Tombstone Blues’, Dylan sings:
“ The ghost of Belle Starr she hands down her wits
To Jezebel the nun she violently knits
A bald wig for Jack the Ripper who sits
At the head of the chamber of commerce.”
